An original artwork, 12″x30″ piece available on request

Sat in front of the woodburner listening to music one cold winter evening, I began to doodle. Wish You Were Here starts with So being repeated, and I sketched one inside the other and the piece grew from there. I chose a ragged sharpened italic letterform and packed the lines tightly together to reflect the abstract nature of the lyrics. Behind the lettering is the artwork to the record outlined with a circle of stage lights.
