I listened to Stairway to Heaven again with a view to writing it out in full. I tried a number of different letter styles but kept returning to a letter with a ‘folk’ feel. I played around with uncial and insular miniscule, but developed the form to create a more modern feel to the lettering. The four symbols sit quietly in the background and tie in neatly to complete the piece.
