An interesting project, as it was initially commissioned by an artist who had tried his hand at basic calligraphy with some nice results. So the design of this poem needed to include elements above and beyond his repertoire. The modern versal letter neatly conveys the nature of The Tree with a leaf dividing each verse and a  stately oak providing a strong base to the piece.
