Having grown up within scenic boarder-lands of Wales, and now settled in the heart of the British countryside, a lot of my work is inspired by nature, history and the arts. Whether its film, music, literature or even architecture, everything finds it’s own place in my pieces.
Self taught from a young age by a passion for art and calligraphy, I have taken great care over refining my craft, experimenting with new techniques and pushing myself to simply get better. Since 2014 I’ve been a member of the Marches Scribes, and have hosted a range of classes for beginners and more experienced artists for over 4 years.
The Glory of the Garden (and the Pigsty)🌞
Peter’s eye for beauty and meticulous attention to detail enabled him to create a true work of art when I entrusted him with our commission.
He incorporated details from photos of our garden into his calligraphy, producing a wonderful interpretation of Kipling’s “Glory of the Garden” which delights everybody who is lucky enough to see it.
Peter’s exquisite artwork is, in the words of John Keats, “a joy forever. and we will treasure it as such for many years to come.
